Tower and nacelle inspection
ScalingExternal inspection of towers, nacelle housings and transition pieces for corrosion, coating failure and bolt issues.
The same drone fleets that inspect blades increasingly cover towers and nacelles in the same visit, and offshore operators buy it to defer technician transfers. It is not yet universal practice because tower inspection is lower value per finding than blade inspection.
